Where do I even start with KBO?
Since the league started play a month ago we have had limited data for these players to go on and make predictions. Some of the guys had played in the KBO before and some had played in the MLB, so we had to look into old data to try to see how these guys would do, and well……It has all been a crap-shoot, haha. Luckily now we are at a point where we have good data to go on and we have watched these guys play in multiple games to get a feeling for them and their style.
Now let’s get into breaking this slate down that we have in front of us and start out with our first pitcher!
The the one guy that stands out to me tonight is Casey Kelly from the LG Twins. Kelly is a good strike pitcher and he has great command and doesn’t walk alot of batters. Kelly also limits the long-ball allowing 7 in his last 31 games!! Kelly last pitched on May 28th against the Hanwha Eagles and struck out 10 batters only walking 3. He is a LOCK for this slate!!
Switching sides now, let’s talk about a batter that is high on my radar for this slate!
Jeong Choi of the SK Wyverns….…..Need I say more!!??
This guy is pure FIRE in the KBO lately. His batting average deceives you as he only has a .208 average with 2 HR’s, but if you look at the fantasy numbers over the past 5 games, he has put up 11, 16, 17, 21, 18 DraftKings points. Tonight he faces a pitcher that loves to walk batters, is a soft thrower and did I mention is a Lefty, thus giving Choi the platoon advantage!!……..Lock him in.
The weather for these games looks good with clear skies and temps in the mid 70’s with light winds.
And now the moment you have been waiting for…..
- CASH STACK – LG Twins
- GPP STACK – SK Wyverns
- SNEAKY LOW OWNED STACK – KIA Tigers
- FAVORITE SECOND PITCHER – Geon-wook Lee
- FAVORITE EXPENSIVE BATTER – Jung Hoo Lee
- FAVORITE MIDDLE BATTER – Dae Ho Lee
- FAVORITE VALUE BATTER – Eun Sung Chae
- FAVORITE OVERALL PLAYERS – Roberto Ramos
- FAVORITE STACK BUILD – 4-3-1
To use our picks above, we recommend taking the CASH Stack as the 4 part of your lineup and then either the GPP or SNEAKY stack as the 3 part of your lineup. You can then choose one of the single batters above as your 1 position.
GOOD LUCK AND PLAY SMART!!!
